A charming watercolour donated by Tim Fargher sees bidding war at charity auction raising money for those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Last night, Tim Fargher's kind donation to Park Loft Studios charity art auction saw a bidding war among young collectors in London and helped to raise over £4,000 for Hands Up Foundation, an innovative charity raising funds to help ease the suffering of those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Syria.

The watercolour entitled 'SOLACE: RAEWYN'S CUP & SAUCER', refers to the artist’s late friend and patron Raewyn Hope-Cobbold, and remembers her taste for robust herbal infusions, which Fargher nicknamed as her ‘compost tea.’
